I don't technically think your idea is a bad one. But considering the Devs seem to be having a hard time getting the post-CoH:Freedom annual vet badges working at all I'd say I rather have them work on getting the badges fixed before they worry about giving us progress bars for the next ones.

Would be nice to see, no doubt, but they should probably work on making sure they get the tokens/points situation stabilized first. I know a guy that hasn't been given any points (from his stipend) since October, and as far as I know the Devs still haven't fixed that for him.

At any rate I figure if they manage to fix one of these issues the other will be effectively fixed as well.

I just want them to fix whatever the issue is; I still don't have my 5 year badge after 5 and a half years....

Just a simple QOL, when a Veteran badge is obtained, i.e 1 Year Veteran as an example, have a progress bar showing 1/12 2/12 etc to show the months to the next badge, with the progress for the next badge being the only one displayed similar to how the healing badges work.
