Valentines day inspired PB modification...

Now, I have yet to try them so I could be wrong, but it seems like there's a new power tech that rolled out with the Valentines day event. The Arrows. From their description they do one thing to friends, and another effect to foes.

So in a late night, diet coke induced stupor, I considered what it would take for me to roll a PB. This is what I got.

1. ALL YOU PBs NEED TO SHUT YOUR PSI HOLE!!!! Ha Get it. Really, shut the Psi hole on Light form. From all I can tell, Warshades get top survivibility and damage at the cost of having to scale by enemies. Peacebringers seem to have always been about high level survival (though not always implemented well to that effect) that remains constant and with a much lower level of available damage.

2. (This is the inspired part) Split the defense debuff in half and add that much resistance debuff (it would be -4.5% defense and resist or -9% defense and resist) Now, make it so that the power can be used on allys for a minor heal, defense buff, and resistance buff. This effect would cap at a certain number of stacks, and be constant through the powers.

Now buffs would be modified to have effects when used on foes. Reform essence and Glowing touch could be moderate/large Regen debuffs, while the Essence boost powers could be HP debuffs similar to degenerative interface. If that wouldn't be allowable, a resistance debuff would be mechanically the same without the potential oopsie moments if too much debuff became available to the players.

3. Make photon seekers more useful. Give them the Carrion creeper effect. When they expire, they summon a pseudopet. Any enemies that die in the Pseudopet causes another Photon Seeker to be summoned. Each one would create the Pseudopet, and each pet would summon for a death in range.

As for making forms more useful, Let inner light be useable while in nova and lightform available for use when in Dwarf. Make Dwarf form Increase the players HPcap when used, in a similar way to Afterburner, and make Nova form do the same for Damage. Also, if they don't already, make the essense boosts cary over between forms. A human form would be HP capped at the current level, and in Dwarf form, there'd be much more HP available.

Add to that the standard remove shifting animation times, and Sashes and I thinks they'd be just about perfect.

Murphys Military Law

#23. Teamwork is essential; it gives the enemy other people to shoot at.

#46. If you can't remember, the Claymore is pointed towards you.

#54. Killing for peace is like screwing for virginity.

Technically, I think the reason Warshades get the psi hole covered is because Eclipse has more risk to use. You have to be in the midst of the enemy mob do get adequate protection. I wouldn't mind seeing the psi hole covered/alleviated, though, since PB's have to deal with the crash constantly.

The resistance debuff has been often suggested, but the dual purpose attacks...I just don't see it happening. It would depend on the numbers, but if it was good enough to be useful, it would probably be overpowered. It would definitely make getting confused lulzy.

That sounds awesome...but it would mean they'd get another nerf in damage. I would probably take it though, because as they are now...

Sounds lovely. (The boost does carry between the forms.)
