Costume Bug - Ear Coloring Not Working

Am I missing a setting here somewhere? It appears that ears can no longer be colored anything other than whatever is set as the skin color:



On the above character, the ears are supposed to be red, but instead they were changed to white.

There is a color setting specifically for ears, but it is simply not working. Strange as this may sound, this is ruining quite a few characters of mine, in that they can now never make any new costumes or edit any current costumes without ear color being changed on them.

Is there another setting somewhere that enables this, or is it just yet another bug that has little chance of being fixed?

I sent a PM to Zwilinger a few days ago about it, and he said he'd pass it along to whoever manages the costume options. It's screwing with several of my characters as well, and hasn't been fixed since I21 hit.
