Here's what I use. Fire Me isn't totally min-maxed by any means but the build works really well against any smash-lethal-fire enemies, and can hold its own against others as well. With a Cardiac alpha there's no real endurance issues. I've used him to run through tip missions set at +0/x6 (no bosses) and also some of the AE fire farms at +2/x8 (with bosses).

Now, if you don't have the time to get all those IOs, you can certainly still use the same build with SOs, just be aware that you'll want to run a lower difficulty. Make sure you use some End Redux in every attack and toggle if you don't have the Cardiac alpha and the recovery IOs, otherwise you'll have a lot of downtime waiting for endurance.

I recently returned to the game after a 3 year break, and I'll be honest I have no idea what I'm doing build wise. My tanker is almost 50 so what I'm looking for is an inexpensive build that I will be able to farm with untill I can afford a better build. I'm not expecting to be able to farm to the extent of some of you but I would like to be able to hit up some of the easier farms. I've played around on Mids I won't bother posting my failure because after looking at some of the builds here I can see that I obviously have no understanding of how to slot. I'm a VIP (not sure if that matters) and really am lost.
Looking for someone to help me out with a build and maybe give me a small break down of the slotting and why its should be slotted in the way its presented. If this is asking to much I understand and maybe someone could point me in the direction of a slotting guide, I don't mind doing the work myself I just dont want to spend all that I have to realise I just made the most terrible build in CoH history.
Thanks for any help it is appreciated.
Edit: I have looked at the guides in the build sticky but they seem really outdated so I'm assuming that they don't really apply to todays slotting.
