So, in the ustream today, we have our new(ish) guy, ThinkTank.
And we have an abandoned theme that sounds like it could be right up his alley.
While the Blood of the Black Stream are dead as an EAT, the (very) broad-brush theme of them is still something haven't really run across - a techno/magic group. Given the long life of the group (from ancient egypt,) there's a lot of potential tie-ins with other groups:
- Midnighters (obviously)
- Pretty much *all* the magic groups. Given we have no real background, there's some potential to also expand in a conflict (or alliance...) with the Banished Pantheon.
- Croatoa-era. You've got the assets, work with 'em.
- Nictus. If this is a techno/magic group, these science-based aliens may have had some interest in them and what they could do.
... just off the top of my head.
What I'm getting at is this:
- We've got info, 'hooks' and assets in the game. Don't waste them.
- And we've got a new world dev that sounds like he'd love to mix ancient, modern and 'techy' stuff. This would be a great place for him to show off.
Pare the BOTBS down to the absolute essence and let him run with it and make it his own.
