Ok I found the issue. Two hours into this one hour install the installer decides to tell me that there isn't enough disk space to complete the install. That would have been nice to know two hours ago. *Sigh* I guess I'll go free up some disk space now, and maybe I will get to play tomorrow.

The patch took an hour to install which was fine, but then it didn't work and it told me that I needed to verify my files because they were corrupt. I did that and then it told me to do it again. I did it again and it told me to do it again.

That was yesterday. I uninstalled the game and am now reinstalling, another hour. It told me that I couldn't do it unless I launch NCsoft BS launcher as administrator, so I'm thinking maybe that has something to do with it messing up in the first place.
Anyway, I hope I don't have to setup all my power slots and other UI settings all over again because that takes hours and i don't have lots of free time on the weekdays where I'm not doing chores or helping kids with homework, and I already spent yesterday trying to get this working. I'm not happy spending another evening working on this. :-( Especially since all my other programs are in linux, so I can't do anything else on the computer while I'm in City of Heroes (since the new launcher uses .net and doesn't work with WINE) so I just keep wasting more and more time.
