Looking for help on a build
I solo most content @+4x8 with the Huntsman build in my sig. A few mobs I have to drop to +3 or +2. Mostly things like Carnies, Cheat DE, and a few others.
I solo everything @+4x8 with the Crab Tank build in my sig, and I'm currently working on Soloing a +4x8 ITF with the Crab Tank build.
The huntsman is the more offensive build, and costs less, but doesn't have enough immobilize for the AVs that like to run, like Romy. It also doesn't have enough status protection for heavy mezzers like carnival. You could modify the build to optimize immobilize and offense if you wanted to keep this overall path.
The Crab has considerably less offense, but has double the survivability, 4 times the status protection, and several times more immobilize; all key problems I ran into in various content.
Hi all. I have just returned to the game about a week ago. I have tried all my other 50's and even a few new toons in Praetoria, but, I came back to my bane/crab. To me, The Bane/Crab is the best AT in the game (Personal value obviously).
I solo most of the time, but will team for ITF and others. I want to be able to run the respec mish's and other content on all sides. Including solo content for badging. I would "prefer" to be able to handle Heroes/AV's and +2/+8 is possible, and be able to farm the Cim wall without much problems ( I have hated AE since it came out, one of the reasons I left the game).
I have some of the "+chance for" stuff already, and some of the other IO's listed, but will buy the rest when the money presents itself. I am hoping to farm with it to provide all that I need.
My Bane/Crab is 50, but obviously will Mal down for alot of the content so it needs to be valuable in them. I SUCK at Mids, but I am borrowing a build from someone (Sory man, I lost the forum page and can not remember who made this) as something to work off of. At the moment after guting all my toons, (cries at the obnoxious amount) I foudn that I only have 116m Inf to work with, so I definately need to farm with this toon as I dont have a true farmer. I think it is enough to provide me with the Io sets that I do not havge though and can respec my other toons for their IO sets to sell off is I need to, which in and of itself will not generate that much money I believe.
Anyway, here is the build I would like to work off of. I will respec out of my Crab for the "+chance to" items once I can get a good solid build for whaat I am hoping to do.
