Yupyup, loving my WS so far, and just 3 more levels and he'll be done, but now I'm looking for feedback on his build.

I wasn't sure if I should or shouldn't be going for defense or not. He'll be a tri-form, though obvious emphasis on nova and dwarf with human for utility/healing/etc.

Was thinking Spiritual/Clarion/Reactive and they rest don't particularly matter atm.

Alright, suggestions/critiques?

I don't have mids with me right now, but I can make a few comments. First, have you seen my guide? It is made for tri-form warshades and includes some good slotting advice.

Defense is an option, I've seen some people cram good amounts into their build. It helps to prevent you from mez and really multiplies your survivability.

One comment is that Phase Shift is a terrible choice. If you want a phase ability, get Nebulous Form. It activates immediately and grants you extra movement.

I'd also change the order of your powers for better exemplaring, but that's not a big deal if you don't do that often. I'd move Gravity Well and Shadow Cloak up to as soon as they are available, and leave stealth for the picks after 41 since you shouldn't ever be using it.

I think you're going to want some end reduction in Black Dwarf Mire. It's pretty heavy on the blue bar and Obliteration doesn't give you much at all.

Spiritual and Clarion are most likely the best choices indeed. Reactive is better if you solo, but on a team, more people are likely to have it. At that point, you'd be better off with anything else because of the stacking limits.

I see that you have a lot of damage bonuses. They aren't all that useful since they become diluted by Mires. If you picked them up "by accident," then I understand. I just hope you aren't actively building for them.

My current build uses Obliteration in Dwarf Mire and I don't notice end. being an issue with it... It could be a personal thing, but the way I look at it is that mires increase your killing speed, which increases the rate you get lots and lots of food for stygian circle.

I have, I read it once or twice and it was both humorous and informative, one of the best guides I've read to be honest.

Right, I was thinking that but I couldn't see a way to build for much without gimping a number of things...

Yea I didn't even think about that, just grabbed it because I took the other powers as set mules and had a sort of free power pick, Nebulous will definitely be better, not to mention it'll finally let me try out the Winter's Gift unique

Yea I'll probably do that, wasn't even thinking about it when building, it doesn't hurt that's for sure.

Was thinking that myself, also was wondering about accuracy in eclipse but not 100% certain of where to get the few slots from...

True, maybe I'll go for another one, but I'll probably work on my interface after t3ing if not t4ing spiritual and then clarion so I'll have time to decide

Nah, they're 100% by accident except maybe Dark Nova Blast, but I like the +hp and enhancing of 4 Devas...

Ack, a few more things I've noticed:

Stygian Circle should not have a +end proc. Give it some endurance reduction, recharge, end mod, or anything else.

Eclipse does look underslotted, are you sure it's perma with this build? I'd be willing to bet Spiritual alpha is enough to fill the gap, but still, double check that. You might want to consider more resistance as well, especially if you go without accuracy. With less resistance, you need to hit more enemies to reach your cap.

As for where to get your slots from? I would drop all the slots from Dark Nova Bolt. The power itself is pretty terrible; you're better off cycling the other powers even for single target damage. I would also drop some of the slots from Essence Drain and either treat it as a heal or an attack. In fact, I'd drop Essence Drain entirely since it's a terrible heal and a terrible attack.

It's manageable without extra end reduction. I'd just rather not bother worrying about it. If you look at my build, you'll see that even with Armageddon in Mire, I still have an extra slot just for endurance reduction. I cycle that power once every five seconds, and it eats too much endurance if for any reason I'm staying in Dwarf form.

Also this is my purple-less build, once I get this slotted the way I like etc I plan on at the very least, drop a ragna in nova detonation, a heca in dwarf smite, an arma in dwarf mire, and an apoc in nova blast

And yes, it and hasten are perma with spiritual t4, though a bit shy w/o any alpha slot.

Aren't the other two nova attacks AWFUL st dps comparatively though? Isn't Nova Bolt my 2nd highest DPA attack across any form?

And yea, was thinking that as well, especially since I already have Siphon Life in Dwarf Form plus if I really want to switch to human to heal I have styg circle which should do well enough...

And yea, was wondering that, figured I'd be spamming the heck out of it and it's end isn't the best...

Just going off base damage, Nova Bolt is identical in DPA to Detonation, and far worse than Blast and Emanation.
