Concept build idea need help!
Here is a quick build I threw together. I am sure there are things that could be improved in this build, but it hopefully gives you (or some of the more AR/- or /Kin-savvy forum members) fodder for discussion/optimization/shredding.
A few assumptions:
-- I included LOTGs, as you were mentioning the lack of opportunites for Kinetic Combats I assumed they were in budget.
-- The AoE immobilze comes from the Mace Mastery PPP, which will cause some redraw. This was a trade-off for the S/L defense of Scorpion Shield.
-- I went for S/L defense over Ranged, mainly bacause, in my experience, /kins will end up closing into the melee action for their own buffs.
-- I skipped hover, as I am too lazy to postition the cones from the air for maximum effect.
-- I skipped a travel power, as I have been fine getting by with sprint/ninja run.
-- I picked up Cardiac Core Paragon for the Alpha slot for the +end (lots of toggles) and the +range for the cones.

Thanks, that helps alot! Kin combats are out of price range but LotG's i have spares floating all around i can ninja off unused toons. Gives me a good looking build to aim for as she levels up. Im one of those that would have money if i stop making other alts hehe.
Hi yall!
Heres the deal i have an idea for a toon id like to run for fun. I've toy'd with ideas on paper and MIDS at home but i just cant come up with a decent build that wont get shredded (at least in my mind, and its mostly cause im still learning how to use what IO sets best ^^).
Here's the break down.
1. Mewcenary Mala ---> Assault Rifle / Kinetics
2. Redraw is ok with me its not too terribly bad.
3. Is hovering a better option for a mstly ranged toon?
4. I've run a fire/kin to 50 but she plays way different so i do know how to slot the kin side.
5. Thank you kindly for any replies, and searching corr forums for ar seems to bring up 0 responces or i just stink at manipulating the search forums heh.
I'd like her defenses decent if possible and i know i cant get in kin combats to help. So id love a semi-moderate priced build i could work on? I know most people work for lvl 50 builds but if i could maybe get least one to lvl on then one to work for that would be awesome.
