So, I have been trying to figure out why it is that I have had such craptactular performance since I 20 came out. I have constant pigg crashes, freezes, crash to desktop, and low frame rates at varying times. I have done all sorts of maintenance on my PC. I have added more RAM, and recently changed out video cards. There is something chewing up RAM in this game. If I start the client, and do nothing with task manager open, I see the ram usage climbing steadily, but I'm used to that. What I just experienced may be the root cause of my crashes. Power Customization. I took my Tank to the tailor in RWZ to match up my rebirth power colors to match the rest of my powers. As soon as I change any power from original to bright or dark, my frames go into the trash. when i switch back to "original" my frames return to normal.
I do not have that issue with any other custom colors for powers. It's only the incarnate powers that do this. So I have to ask, what is so different between the "original" color palate and the custom color palate that would cause such a difference, and has anyone else noticed it?
