New Laptop Hunt

Hmm. Well, that one is comparable to the laptop I have (The Asus G51), and it runs CoX just fine. However, it runs it rather hot. I can't say whether or not yours will have the same issue, as my video card probably draws more power, and the specs are slightly different...|
So I've been going through NewEgg for a new Laptop (or a refurb) and I am trying to keep it under 500. So far the best one I've found is http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834220758 but I'm not sure if it's going to be up to snuff to handle CoH when I play on the laptop.
Any help on this one? |
But yeah, in terms of playability you should be fine. I'd personally try for a better CPU and video card, but I can understand if money is a factor in that regard.

Will it run CoH? Sorta. You're not going to be able to crank the resolution up high (and trying to play at low resolution on a high res laptop screen can lead to funny-looking results).
You can see the basic info for the 210M here.
It's basically a 2 year old entry level discrete graphics solution. About the only thing to recommend it is that "it isn't Intel Integrated graphics".
It's on par, performance-wise with my 4 year old Quadro 570M. It'll play the game with minimal stutter, but don't even THINK about Ultra Mode.
