DB/DA Respec... looking for help

Alright, so I've returned to the game after a pretty long hiatus (deployment) and I need to respec SEVERAL toons, now that Stamina is inherent. Here's what I've ran on probably my favorite scrapper for a while. Before I respec him, I'm asking for a little help on the build. From what I've read, the combos aren't the way to go to max (or at least improve) DPS. He's always been a little end heavy, I'd like to improve that, and better numbers Def wise would be lovely. Any and all recommendations are appreciated! Hope I post the data chunk right. It's the first time I've done it....

Your build seems to attempt to stack Melee and S/L defense. While viable, I personally feel there are better option. While S/L will substantially improve your survivability, it still leaves Dark Armor rather exposed to Energy Damage; 24% Energy defense simply isn't enough at higher levels.

Two major things that differ on my build that you will need to take into consideration. 1) I strongly prefer Cloak of Fear over Oppressive Gloom. I believe the fear + to hit debuff benefits out weigh additional endurance costs. 2) This build is highly dependent on Cardiac Incarnate Slot.

Nice! You have some nice numbers there, minus that End issue (which you stated you deal with, lol). I will have to adopt some of your slotting etc and see what I can steal. I'll repost soon with what I work out. And thank you! (I do need to be more patient, lol)

Ok, I know it's been a while, but I finally got around to taking some of your advice Des. I tried to stick to most of the sets I was already using, while taking some of your advice to get my defenses/recharge in better shape. I haven't actually started running this yet, as I'm a little worried about sustainability (end issues). It took me a long time on Mids to work that out, before I knew about Build Guides, lol. Anyway, please let me know what you think, and thanks.

The build looks pretty good. Obviously I like it, it is very similar to how I like to build Dark Armor.

One thing though, you exceeded the 3.75% S/L limit. You can only stack that bonus 5 times. You used Kinetic Combat 5 times and then used the bonus again with Siphon Insight in CoF. Might I suggest changing Vengeful Slice to Hecatomb.

This part is key: your build demands Cardiac Core and +end Accolades (Atlas Medallion + Portal Jockey). With out these, the build will not sustain endurance management. You may also consider replacing one of the end mods in Physical Perfection the Performance Shift + End procs. Number crunchers assure me that will net you more recovery than the end mod.

Personally, I would not have used the Obliteration sets. You could use a tad more E/Ne defense. A minor quibble though.

Damn... you're right. I saw that you had a couple Purple sets slotted on your build. I believe I will throw a Hecatomb in there... now that I have an excuse to, lol.

I wondered if you'd point out the low numbers on the E/NE. I was torn between what I wanted out of the toon, basically, and not wanting to have to change him completely. So, I'll just deal with those numbers. I'm already very pleased with finally knowing how to get soft capped in S/L.

I'm still working on getting my hands on a Glad 3%,but its proving irritating, lol. One step at a time, I suppose. I havent actually put the build to use, because I dont want to do so, start running Incarnate stuff, and be struggling with End. After I get my Cardiac going, then he'll get the overhaul (or second build... but the thought hurts my head, after all I've spent on the current build, lol.)
