Accuracy, Defense and Endurance for DM/FA Brute

1) Accuracy. Looking at the accuracy display for an attack in Mids:
(a) what level is so low that you would start sacrificing other stats in order to beef up accuracy?
(b) what level is so high that you would check whether you could trade away some of that "excess" accuracy in order to increase other stats?

2) Energy/Negative Energy Defense. How concerned should I be that my planned DM/FA Brute build only has negligible E/N defense? Should this generally be ok on the theory that there won't be a lot of pure energy/negative energy incoming damage and whatever there is can be dealt with using inspirations and DM/FA healing?

3) Endurance. Looking at Mids for my DM/FA Brute, it predicts Endurance generation of 3.16 per second and Endurance expenditure (not counting attacks but with Darkest Night running) of 2.08 per second. Mids also predicts 60 second recharges (with Hastern running) for each of Dark Consumption and Consume. How concerned should I be that this Brute may be gasping for Endurance?

1. Set your base to-hit to 39% in Mids' to see your chance to hit +4's. I think it is in the Effects & Maths tab in the options. Since you will be using Soul Drain, turn it on with one target in range to see your chance to hit in a +4 AV scenario. It isn't hard to reach 95% chance to hit with a permanent or near-permanent to-hit buff.

2. Incarnate content is very heavy on pure energy damage. Praetorian Clockwork are the primary source of it. Aim for 32.5% S/L and E/N defenses and you should be fine with inspirations or team buffs.

3. You can calculate the endurance cost of your attack chain. Add up the total endurance cost of your attacks and divide by the total Arcanatimes to get end/s. Add that to your expenditure in Mids'. If you go over your recovery by 3 end/s you are going to run out of end in 30 seconds of fighting. If you go over by 1.5 end/s you will need to use your endurance drains every 60 seconds or so. Using the endurance drains cuts into your DPS. Also, consider that the Ageless Destiny buff can provide you with a permanent source of nearly-unlimited endurance when you get it to tier 4.

For endurance, I shoot to make sure my toggles never take more than half of my endurance/second.

As long as your Smashing/Lethal is 45% your fine for most of the content. I would want it higher if it was me.

Accuracy. Most of the time when I slot powers, acc is somewhere in the 200% range. It's prolly excessive, and could be less. You definitely want it above 125% (base of 75-90 -125 = 50 ish acc inhancement.

Your character does not have capped defense. Depending on your AT the cap is between 175% - 225%. Your defense is not teal in the combat window, it can go higher. STOP SAYING IT IS CAPPED! The correct term is Soft Cap.
I enjoy playing in Mids. I specialize in Melee Characters, other AT's usually bore me.
