Patrol time weirdness

OK, this is just odd. Minor, in the overall scheme of things, but still -

I mention doing project "superteams" with friends of mine. One of those groups hit 50 the other day. We had set up as two sets of pacted characters - call them H, V, B and myself. The first pairing was H/V, then B/me.

Talking to H today, she mentioned "I checked the hours. Mine came up as 78." Well, cool, that's pretty quick - I usually am hitting 120 or so. Her fiance, B, had checked and was at 77. She hadn't asked V, but I'd gone in (I normally note date/time/hours in the bio) to see since I had spent a little time solo for various reasons, figured I'd probably hit 80.

Click the NPC... 327. Zoned, same thing. Check on another system - same. I *know* I wasn't logged in for the equivalent of 10 (full) days and change that they weren't. And I'm active enough that even if that character were "stuck" online (where the global friends list, for instance, still shows you as on even when you're not,) it should have reset to another character and not built up that much. (Don't think I've had over 300 in years, unless I finish up a very old character.)

Any ideas - other than "Yep, that's messed up?"
