Thumbtack problem

I've been trying to use the thumbtack in zone maps as badge markers but recently they've been all over the place. I stick the tack where I want and the compass doesn't correlate to it in any way

I've not noticed this before so I'm presuming it's a bug.

Anyone ever experience it?

I've seen the issue hunting badges in Mercy before. Not sure if I've seen it anywhere else though. Didn't "bug" it myself.
