I have the same problems but it's an overall input delay from the login screen to in game.

I reinstalled the game and it seemed to have fixed itself.

As of yet, I have not had any problems with entering my password and user ID.
On another note, I had been using compatibility mode for XP sp 3 to make the 3d sound work. I discovered this had some severe affects on my FPS and usability of the game. Some abilities in certain colors would stall me to under 1 fps.
I will watch and see if the input lag also goes away now that I am no longer using compatibility mode.
For the last couple days, across Virtue, Infinity and Justice, I have been experiencing extreme input lag when using the auction houses. Both Red, Blue and Praetorian.
Both dragging items into the Auction UI and typing in it, for example typing 100000 or 5000000 takes four or five seconds to echo on the screen. Each character slowly showing up one at a time.
The rest of the game, outside the usual lag in the ITF seems fine.
Anyone know what is up with this.
