First off I let COH b4 Bases existed and returned recently and found that the SG base is an excellent add in for bringing the SG together as a central place for not only play but for the new game content that did not exist in 05, crafting etc.
The following post deals with SG PVE suggestions. Where the majority of the SG badges that are currently earned are for PVP base defense items, Most not all. As PVP base raids are offline currently, and to my knowledge have been for sometime now, this post leans to PVE items taking a forefront to SG badges and base gear.
Here are some starter suggestions to bounce around. Lets hear what else you all have for idea on the PVE side, and its uses. I know many people love PVP, this is not an attempt to convert you J. Only allow those interested in PVE more options to immerse themselves in game, specifically SG base builds.
Tech: File 42
Arcane: Tome of Many Things
Tech:
Is represented by a large file cabinet, with an attached monitor and keypad or similar item.
Arcane:
Is represented by a large runic set of crystal balls on a pedestal. Either stationary or hovering.
Function:
Becomes a list of base salvage currently in all base racks. It can be organized by alphabetic or by rarity. It shows the item name and how many currently are in the base. If the name is greyed out, it means that the player accessing this item does not have the rank / permission to take the item from the rack it draws the item from for the list. Otherwise a player can select salvage from the list to be added to his or her inventory. This is a workshop Aux. Item.
To get this item the base must earn an SG PVE badge. Perhaps 500 IOs must be made in the base to unlock it.
It is 250k prestige to buy and is 250 Prestige rent, and will fit anywhere a Workshop Aux will go. Power and Control requirements: 100P 50C
Being able to rename a storage rack. Limit on characters. Arcane uncommon, or Tech White, 1, 2, 3 . Whatever.
The Masters Wardrobe:
Tech a Large walk in closet, with odds and ends of clothing on spinners or folded neatly on shelves. Resembles a item akin to the Rad shield device in Terra-volta but deeper and with clothing as mentioned.
Arcane A rustic Wooden or stone walk in chest wardrobe, with odds and ends of clothing peeking out from piles and racks. Hats, boots etc.
Allows access to the tailor from Base. Does not allow access to Tailor costume missions.
SG PVE Badge a total of 100 costume slots open combined from SG members, either 20 members at 5 slots or 100 members at 1 slot etc
Hmmmm considered a Workshop Aux? or room decoration to be used in any room?
The SG Coalition Board
Using a cork board with items tacked to it looking object, this item can be hung on a wall and when clicked on will allow (ranks with permission) a series of options. Such as
Allows a rank with permission to post an SG event in a message format as would in a MOTD in SG settings, however any base equipped with a Coalition Board will be able to read the postings of any other Coalition board equipped SG in their coalition. So if I wanted our SG to post an event for something, any other coalition with the board would be able to read it and decided to attend or etc. Likewise our sg would be able to read anything they posted. Each SG may only have 3 items posted (upt to 5?) on their own board.
When viewing the board a tab indicated Coalition or Your SG. Choosing Coalition brings up all of the other postings in one list.
SG requirements: Must have at least 5 coalition SGs. (fosters teamwork). Listed as a decoration, it can be placed on any wall, as the current cork boards are now. Power and control requirements unknown. Icon is the same for Arcane as it is Tech.
The Bazar
Takes up a 1x4 placement (Blocks) Looks like either Tech market stands, or arcane medieval market stands. 2 vendors one that buys ONLY inspirations and hancers can not buy from this vendor, one for Market / AH / Wentworths / Black Market (a free agent) allows access to the market place as you would be in wentworths / BM.
So in the arcane version the Market is all medieval looking stands and 2 vendors stand behind the counters. On you may sell inspirations and enhancers to and the other allows interface with the black market or red or wentworths for blue.
The enhancer vender does not buy salvage. To keep base exploits from cleaning out a base in a fit of lunacy.
Power and control requirements unknown.
Dimensional Vaults :
These in essence are larger capacity storage racks. Holding 99 items each. They are 200 Prestige rental require no power and 10 control each. They function like any other storage rack but their size is 2x as wide and a different icon for it. Permissions can be set as normal racks. Cost 500k prestige each
With larger floor plans the ability to have more storage items. Currently the max is 18. Perhaps with the last 3 Plot sizes in each category as follows: Secret each one adds a cumulative +1 storage capacity while the secure adds a +2 cumlative storage capacity. So having the Max size secret base would allow you 21 storage items and the largest Secure plot would allow you 24 storage items.
1 extra Storage Item slot (increasing the max to either 22 or 25 respectively) can be unlocked with an SG badge (Operating at Capacity) for having max storage containers in base for a cumulative amount of time. Like how day jobs work. 60 days at Max Capacity in the number of storage items in base. At 60 days the Operating at Capacity badge unlocks the ability for the base to add 1 more base storage item only, becoming 19 if not using the above system or not having a plot size large enough when using that system.
