(Yet Another Build Post)

Well, I've looked over my build for now and I'm very happy with what I'm packing now on a moderate budget (had a few lucky drops recently and have been able to buy some previous enhancements that were out of my reach).

That said, I'd like to do better. So, over to my favourite AT community!

A few likes/dislikes though...

  1. If I take it, I slot it - no point picking a power if it doesn't contribute.
  2. I consider Tactics, Assault, Aid Other and Repair as requirements for the build - I must be able to assist others/my bots.
  3. At least one direct attack power - need to be able to finish off runners.
  4. I'd like to stay with my existing power picks, they've served me well - but if someone has a great build idea...
  5. My funds are modest as a long-term but casual player. I have less than 500mil in liquid assets currently.

I'm unable to view via Mids at the moment (at work goofing off) so I can't really see the big picture. I'll try to check it out when I get home.

In them meantime, a couple of things stood out -

You may want to consider doing vill tips (or hero) every now and then and getting LOTG +7.5 Recharge IOs for your 2 ally bubbles. The +Def values will be virtually unchanged and it's a freebie 15% rch. You can also get a Numina unique for health using the same method. All this for doing tip missions for less than 2 weeks.

Check out the recharge difference in 2 slots vs 3 for Repair. I have a feeling the difference won't be all that great, especially given how often you'd use that power considering you have Aid Other.

I never go more than 5 slots for Doctored Wounds. The 6 slot bonus is "meh" and 5 slots is enough to ED cap Heal and Recharge.

In Detention Field, check out Hami Acc/Mez. I think they're cheap (don't remember, to be honest) but they do enhance the magnitude (yes magnitude) of the cage effect.

I'd want to figure out a way to squeeze in at least one Def IO into Prot Bots. I'm guessing with Power Boost you can soft-cap your bots, but you could get another 4+ percent for yourself.

Because I don't have Mids, I can't tell what your total Ranged Def is, I do see 2 opportunities to add 5%, via a 6th Thunderstrike and a 6th Red Fortune.

To-Hit IOs aren't terribly expensive and are nifty for either increasing recharge (Adjusted Targetting) or all positional def (Gaussians). Even just keeping the same # of slots in Tactics (4), Gaussian adds nice bonuses.

In Web Cocoon, GWs are dirt cheap and 4 slots of those provide some decent bonuses. Basilisk Gaze would be even better, but more expensive.

Likewise, 2 slotting Force Feedback in Force Bolt does something (+speed) for cheap.

Well, that turned out to be a lot of feedback for not being able to actually see the build in Mids.

Looks good to 4-slot with the LOTG set. Will be making that update as and when I can afford (by whatever means).

56s -> 60s which with the 4.7s recharge time hole in Aid Other makes me happy with the additional slot, but if I respec I might strip it as suggested.

The six-slot is a holdover from my previous 2x Rchg, 3x Heal, 1xIntRdx slotting using Basic IO's. Thanks for the slot saving - if I feel the need to respec I'll certainly bear this in mind.

Tempting, but not sure I like the drop in accuracy when I do this as when I hit Det Field, I really want it to hit.

My Nerva Alpha gives me 20% into the Prot Bots anyway. Like the suggestion (on Basic IO's I did have them slotted with +Def) but I like the set bonuses from Blood Mandate too!

25.4% Ranged (before Prot Bots -> Force Shield). I used to have the sixth Thunderstrike but I preferred the utility of the Chance to Hold. I will add the sixth slot for Red Fortune on next respec though (if I do - I'm an 81+ month vet and losing my power bar setup is a major headache!)

Maybe if I can squeeze six slots into Tactics on a respec I'd slot Gaussians but otherwise the bonuses I can get just don't seem worth it.

Same deal here, the bonuses are nice, but I care more about the accuracy and recharge. I'd like to add utility to it but a single-target hold with Lockdown +2 Mag Hold seems weak, and I'm not lacking for damage where I feel a damage proc would be beneficial.

Again, another power in my "when I use it, it hits" category. And +Recharge is not really a priority, when the buk of my powers just don't make use of it. Sure, nice to have perhaps but only if I can pop a slot extra in it so as not to sacrifice accuracy.
