I too got sick of the constant crashing, so i installed windows 7 just to play the game.
But it doesnt look as good as the mac version.
But more of a problem is that the sound is like the speaker is submerged in water it sounds so bad.
So back to your problem. Did you update your video driver to the current version?
I updated both my video and sound drivers it did help but the sound is still so bad, but only for coh...all other games and sound are normal.
As far as I know, yes. I'm dumb, though, so I'm not sure if that's accurate.
I'm going to amd and searching for my driver and then downloading what comes up. Problems still persist.

Sorry to hear that. I am having the same problem with my sound.
Since I'm having frustrating trouble with the mac version of CoH, I thought I'd just go back to playing CoH on windows via bootcamp. I recently upgraded to Windows 7, so I had to install the game again. When I start it up, I'm greeted by a constantly flashing screen.
The game still functions, up to a point. I can log in and select a character, but once I enter the game I'm unable to click on anything. Back when I was using XP, I didn't have any problem whatsoever, and I haven't changed anything besides going to Windows 7 since then.
