The rules for PvP and PvE are different. Probably the best place to test your PvP build is the arena.
For the "long hallway" situation, you can set your map to Empty, then spawn your EB/AVs with the Defeat a Boss detail and set surrounding enemy group to Empty. Subsequent AVs can be set to spawn upon defeat of the first.
For the "random AV" situation, I thought you could have created a custom group of all possible AVs and spawned each Defeat a Boss detail randomly, but after checking I see that the random option is not available for custom groups although it is available for standard groups.
Wow great input ! I like where you are going with that. Never noticed the option of setting map to empty I'll go check it out. Also hadn't factored in the difference between pvp and pve so I'll say that I'd like to gauge the effectiveness of a single target oriented toon -vs- tough single targets.
My next question is...can I use the actual AV's I want to fight or do I have to create pseudo knock offs of them? If so, how do I find the exact power sets that specific AV's have?

I'd like to make a mission designed to test my pvp toons. Here's the basice concept.... You are walking down a long hallway and there in front of you is some famous EB/AV. Let's say it's Bobcat. After defeating the first one and continueing down the hallway you come across another EB/AV that is slightly tougher than the first one, until at the end you run into something that is the rough equivilent of Recluse or Statesman. In my perfect world the progression would mimic that which you would see in either the RSF or STF, but I'm sure this is asking just a little too much.
The other thing that I would love is if you could have an arena map that would spawn a different EB/AV everytime you played it I KNOW this is impossible but just thought I'd throw the concept out into the ether so that someday it can come to fruition.
So far the closest I can come is making a map full of mobs that are EB/AV's. Obviously a mob of AV's doesn't tell me anything about my PVP toon other than how fast he can faceplant. It would be nice if you could change the difficulty so that one time you are fighting a +2 EB and the next time you are fighting a -1 AV. But a team of 8 wouldn't have to fight 8 AV's at a time.
Can anyone make anything remotely similar to this concept or offer some advice on how to get there?
P.S. The other way it might work is if you could fight a +4 malta boss followed by a +4 Carnie boss...etc This is my first post hope it's in the right place.
