Does anyone have any issues with Ultra Mode in its fullest with NVidia 400 or 580 series cards ?
i have a GTX 460, I run shadows at max, and my 460 eats it up.
try turning down ambient occlusions a few notices, that does eat up a lot for some reason, more so that shadows.
yah I have sli470 (not that it is supported yet) but you have to turn off ambient occul -
What kind of resolution are you running @ Ancient? Also, would you mind telling me what kind of frames you get in your Ultra mode standing near Imperious in Cimerora, looking out, what is the lowest you can get your frames while looking out? Also, what is your cpu and O.S. ?
Thanks

1680*1050
Phenom II X4 @ 3.Ghz
4Gb ddr3
GTX 460
Win 7 x64
All settings maxed except FSAA and Ambient occlusions. (FSAA kept at 8x[because its a video ram hog when at x16 or higher], Ambient turned off, it drags performance down, and i visually don't see much of a difference between performance and off settings anyway)
in Cimerora i average about 50fps. standing near Imperious looking out dosn't affect it.
the only zone that seams to impact my average fps, is DA, but its not enough to make a visual difference. i mean, its DA, you cant see crap anyway... lol
Hi,
I have a GTX 580 and have issues running SHADOWS on their highest setting. Does anyone else ?
I've tried both resolutions 1900x1080 and 1680x1050 and have the same issues, I've even gone lower and found the same thing occurring.
In my estimation, the drivers I have might not be able to perform well in certain aspects of this game.
Thanks in advance for any specific information that may help me
P.S.
I'm curious about NVIDIA 400 series or higher owners
