UI Ideas
1) I'd like this idea as well. Or at least something more indicative of when a power will be back up than the current growing icons we have now.
2) It's not a bad idea, I just don't think it'll actually do anything. The devs have actually made the visual effects of anchor powers more visible in the past to try to fix this issue, and it doesn't seem to have helped. I'm not sure why this would either.
3) Most zones don't have fog of war anyhow. Only hazard zones. And most people rarely go to those anyway. I don't dislike this idea, but I don't consider it a big deal either.
4) I'm not entirely sure what you're suggesting here, so it's hard to respond.
5) I'd like to see this too, as would many, many other people. Apparently it's pretty difficult to do properly though.
As a Buffing Defender, I would like to have interface options that allow me to set the team window to "show only my buffs" on all team-mates. This would make the team window ALOT more manageable and save myself some time searching thru icons visually.
I know that I may be wierd, but I dont have an internal clock that allows me to know when buffs are fading. I need to see them blinking in order to know its time to re-do buffs.
BIOSPARK :: DARKTHORN :: SKYGUARD :: WILDMAGE
HEATSINK :: FASTHAND :: POWERCELL :: RUNESTAFF
As to my Action bar idea I would like to be able to set up bars so that if I want 1 bar of 4 buttons and another with 12 and a third with 6 I can have them and set them up in any pattern I choose. So if I wanted a 6 button bar that I could set as 3 across and 2 deep I could do that.
With the buffs I have an Rad/Psi defender as well as a Ill/Rad controller so i can speak from experience the more visual buff they gave rad didnt really help. Even when Im soloing and have 3 mobs on me it can be hard to spot which one Ive debuffed at times, so running with a group of 4-8 and the corisponding mob size that a team like that will spawn still makes spotting the debuffed mob nearly impossible. I play a hunter over on WoW also and I can tell you having a big red arrow (Hunter's Mark) pointing down o a mob is infinately easier to spot than a somewhat stronger glow effect at their feet.

Now ideally I would love NCsoft to open up CoX to allow players to make mods that would manipulate the UI, such as timers, action bars, healing aids,... However if they wont open that up I have some UI sugestions that I would love to see implimented. Any of these could be setup as enabled/disabled in the options menu.
1) Countdown timers; while countdowns arent really needed for things like attacks, having a countdown timer to show how long till various buffs (like Aim and Buildup) are available would be very helpful.
2) Debuff ingame icon; for debuffs like Radiation Infection and Evertating Field it would be nice to be able to have an icon (maybe an arrow) appear over the target that is debuffeed so everyone on a team can clearly see what target to kill last.
3) Map fog; having to travel over every inch of a zone in order to uncover it all on your map is annoying to say the least, maybe clear a sector on the map when the name tag is revealed on it. When all the named sectors are revealed then any remaining covered spots (not liked with named map sectors) would automatically uncover.
4) More action bar options; I would love to see some new action bar options to allow different styles of action bars not just the default ones.
5) Some backpack costume options; We have archers, tech oriented MM, Defenders, and controllers, so adding some new back options like quivers, and tech oriented backpacks would be a welcome adition
