Though this isn't for DCUO or else I wouldn't have posted it here. This is for the PeaceKeepers SG which is an SG thats in a lot of games including Coh/Cov/CohGR among others.

Prices for commissions aren't aloud though for prizes it was always OK before as long as it was a contest.

Also with the PK site says it's a dc online league thats true. So I have no excuse for that though like I mentioned, we are throughout the internet for MMO's with people all ya guys know like Veikira, CelticBolt, me (I hope you didn't forget me ), Gray Huntress, Striking Speedster and many more Coh'ers. We all still play this game and have an SG here so I figured why not let the artists here know so they have a shot...

I would say we need more details, or else this is going to be confusing and infuriating and people will largely ignore it.

I took a look, and regardless of quality I only have enough time, money and emotional investment for this one hero town.

Now, if the Peacekeepers were truly independent, I'd buy that. Because it'd be free...

Squeezing sixteen people into a single picture doesn't make for a very good composition, IMO. Even a really talented artist would have a hell of a time making that look good. I guess this is a case of quantity over quality.

Nah it's quality as well. I have seen several compositions where there are more then 16 people in a picture and it turned out great!

But thats why there are two categories and why the prize is set so high for the Grand Prize as it will definitely be a challenge.

I guess "you didn't win" is interchangeable with "being disqualified."

Took out that rule as it seemed a bit excessive. Also dropped the minimum character expectation down. New rules re-posted on the OP.

Personally I don't mind the Peacekeepers tie in with any superhero game, but I can understand how some might see it as rather 'odd' that a DCUO themed league group is advertising a competition here in these forums.

Kudos if you can pull off the vision of becoming independent of any MMO.

I love the character reference sheets that have been created for the various Peacekeeper heroes. Even if you have no interest in DCUO or this competition it's worth looking at the Peacekeeper site on deviantART for the art alone.

Looking forward to see what people come up with. I love the Peackeepers and the art your members recieve is outstanding. I just wanted to say that the supergroup name the peacekeepers is what inspired the name of my character and supergroup the Peacemaker/s. I love the promotional piecesfor this contest. Who came up with those?

Hey all.

Hybrid, I made the "emblem buttons" for The Peacekeeper roster, just for standard use wherever (signatures, wikis, etc.). Tremor (Yin here in CoH) decided to put them to use on the teaser posters.

The rules poster, and the promo poster was a collab effort between a bunch of us (TA, Lunar Ray, Slipshod, Tremor to name a few). I put it all together finally in Photoshop, but they went through many versions and rules tweaks.

Good luck to everyone! With such a talented bucket of artists taking interest in this community project I'm excited to see what's to come!

We have made some addendum's to the contest. It's now extended to December 2nd. More time to get those large compositions in.

Please note the following:

- Extension - Deadline for submissions have been extended a month longer. Entries must be submitted on or before December 2nd 2010

- Submission rules - Submissions can be uploaded to your personal gallery within DA and submitted to the Peacekeepers group. However we also ask that the finished full size be emailed to peacekeepers@live.ca and under the 9mb restriction so as we can see the piece in full for judging.

- If you have already entered a submission, remember that you can always take this time to make any corrections or additions before the Deadline. As well, you may submit as many entries as you would like
