Once more, we'll invade the Abyss to remind Hamidon who runs the Rogue Isles! And in under an hour!

Saturday, August 14th, 3 PM Pacific (4 PM Mountain, 5 PM Central, 6 PM Eastern).

I will try to wrangle kidengineer into leading the raid and coordinating the teams.

The other team leaders will be announced at the raid.

A few points to remember:
* The Abyss is restricted to level 45+ villains.
* The raid team leaders will use the Request channel to coordinate the teams. Please monitor the channel for instructions, but do not use it unless you are one of the raid team leaders
* It will hold 50 villains, if the Abyss fills up, do not leave the zone, there is no guarantee you'll get back into that instance.
* The Hamidon will spawn (bloom) 3 sets of Mitos at (75%, 50%, and 25%), in addition to the mitos that initially spawn with him.
* After Hamidon is defeated you will have the option of selecting 53 Reward Merits or a random Hamidon Origin Enhancement if you are level 47+.

If you can, please acquire Bio warhead/nuke from Warburg prior to the raid. They help tremendously.

Please acquire Chemical Burn warhead/nuke from Warburg as well. With enough, we'll be able to plow through the last bloom.

Depending on the turnout, we may attempt a completely evac-less raid.

I'll be there. I can bring Trix, as has become usual, or if we have enough pain already, I could bring a brute or corruptor, whichever would be more helpful.

I will be there - bringing my widow, Crimson Mystique, instead of my Midnight renegade, my bane. She is 48 now and I think will make a better yellow mito killer than my bane.

I will bring Mech Lord V, my bots/ff MM (which is my only 45+ villain on Protector.)

The Hamidon is the ultimate organic being and therefore must be DESTROYED!!!!11!!!

*ahem* Sorry, carry on...

Great raid. We plowed through the last bloom with only 36. And this is the last raid before Going Rogue. Hopefully, with toons having access to both sides we'll see better turnout for raids. Thanks for coming and see ya next week in the Hive.

Okay, respec'ed my toon, Domina specifically for the raid. And it turned out QUITE well. Only cost me about 70 mil.

Hopefully my targeting wasn't to horrific.

All in all a fairly smooth raid. The power-through on the last bloom was ****ING AWESOME!

Thanks to Kid and Major T for the great run! Hopefully, sometime soon, we'll be able to try for an evacless.

Clicking on the linked image above will take you off the City of Heroes site. However, the guides will be linked back here.

Nope, targetting wasn't too horrific. I managed to see what you were targetting.

We've DONE evacless.

It went great.

Just have to have all the pieces in place... which STARTS with enough people showing up.
