Hey there, Im new to pvp and id like some help
I just rolled a Psy EM blaster but i cant find any guides for a pvp psy blaster. I mostly do Zone and i wanted to know what are some things i should know about zone pvp. Here are some more specific questions too:
-What are the best power pools for a psy em other than SS, Fitness and the ice epic?
-For a psy em blaster, to avoid getting stalked should i use fly?
-If i do use fly, should i use Tactics?

Thank you so much for your time and maybe through this thread we'll make a sort of Psy em guide for pvp

standard pools are fitness,speed,leaping,leadership...on special circumstances it varies but this is the usually the most optimal setup..you need 41 PTA of kb protection minimum and u shuld build for rech,hp,dam in that order...psy/em's are pretty straight-forward and easy to pick up.

if you need build help there are plenty of threads in this section with tons of them and advice on them.

ice/dev is bad

I wouldn't do ice/dev or fort. NW would be better(although it really doesn't matter so long as you have web and shatter but NW can crit and elude) and ice/dev just has a horribly low damage output.

Positron's i13 letter: We are trying to make PvP more accessible to new players, while giving experienced PvP'ers the advantage that comes with formulating tactics around the new systems we're putting in place. PvP from now on will be on our priority list. If something isn't working out, we'll be in there tweaking it and making it work, for the entire future of the product, not just Issue 13.

The ice dev is for antistalking. It has good per and the single target damage is Actually pretty good with slows and holds added on. The fortunata is supposedly good, from what i've heard because of the psionic damage and holds withthe defenses

Ice blast is the almost the worst primary to have, its damage is laughable and its slows do pretty much nothing. If you are going to play a blaster play either a Psi/EM, Fire/Em, Rad/Em or Sonic/Em.

Unless you have plenty of cash (billions and bilions) I'd stay away from ice/dev. It requires a big investment to stay competitive. Lots of recharge and procs. As stated above a VEAT would be best for anti-stalking come GR.

A */dev blaster would need targeting drone, tactics, and the +per IO to see a stalker and even then it would only work 10ft away. VEATS are going to be the stalker hunters of choice in a month or two.

on a side note, fly doesn't help avoid as. If I see a flying blaster, I use jetpack to get my as, and there is no one around to help you either once I lose hide. and then I placate right back into hide. But if you want to use fly so you can barrel roll and dive bomb baddies, by all means.....
