No. More AoE doesn't necessarily equal superior AoE. SS is superior to Elec for farming.

Ah, but he must care a little about inf, or he wouldn't be doing inf/minute calculations

Silver rolls might be a decent compromise between tedium and inf, they'll always be a better moneymaker then rare salvage.
