Windows 7 / Alt-Tab question
Alt+Tab is a system command in basically all versions of Windows to switch between applications. There aren't any ways to disable that behavior (short of resorting to black magic).

Understood.

But on my old Win XP machine, as long as I didn't have a 2nd application running in the background, I could use alt tab to cycle through friends (be it teammates, pets, police drones, etc...). IF I had a 2nd application running, i.e. a web page open, I could not use alt tab because it would switch between CoH and the web page.
With my new Win 7 machine it treats the Desktop as a separate application.

You could try this. Remember to back-up your registery, don't tweak it if you're not comfy with it, etc etc.

On my old PC I would keybind Tab to select next bad guy (which is the standard option) and Alt-Tab to select the next friend.
Well, now I have a new rig running Windows 7 and whenever I set alt-tab to select next friend it not only selects next friend but it also pulls up my desktop as if it's a completely different application running in the background. So it effectively makes alt-tabbing to next friend unusable. I've resorted to using the letter 'Q' to tab between friends but it's a bit cumbersome.
Anyone know how to turn this feature off? I'm playing in full screen mode with no other programs running in the background.
Thanks,
