Screen Resolution; Help!

Hey guys, I haven't played city of heroes for quite a while now.
Looking to get back into at and as I go to load it, it changes the screen resolution from 1366 by 768 pixels to some other thing and then it says my laptop doesn't support whatever it is. The thing is I used to play it perfectly fine on this laptop when I used to play it, and now it won't let me load it, help?
I've tried running in safe mode and everything, doesn't do a thing.

Questions:

1366X768 is the native full screen resolution for your laptop?
In game you're choosing the resolution that has (Desktop) next to it?

1366X768 is the resloution, yes.
And secondly, I can't even get onto the updater screen without the screen resolution changing.

You an use that to adjust game settings outside of the game. Set the resolution using that and then see if the problem persists.

Downloaded and tried it, when I change the resolution to 1366X768, I load City of Heroes, then the resolution still changes.

Oh, and if it helps, even when I click on city of heroes, to open the updated, the screen resolution even changes then.

Odd that the resolution changes even when you launch the updater. It could be a 3rd party program I guess. Can you post a CohHelper and HijackThis?

If you're familar with the registry you can try deleting the CityofHeroes key (I don't remember the exact name or location).

I have no idea what that means!
