Is there a way to log when the game presents a lost connection to map server? Asking since I'm working a connectivity issue and that would be nice to have to compare to router logs, etc. I don't think the game is the cause, especially since the cable light is blinking on the modem, but the cable co is starting to think otherwise.

Not that I know of. What I suggest is just run a pinger. It sounds like this should be reproducible out of game.
ping -t www.yahoo.com or there are utilities that'll do a ping and log connection issues.
