Well, the most likely problem is permissions. The solution is to confirm that you have write permissions to the install location. Alternatively, try running in administrator mode.

It doesn't look like permissoins, but I'd fix that first.

Make sure you have a logon for the account installing it. I did eieio [eek, don't steel mah megahurtz!]. Having a password makes Win relax and not freak at everything. Also, if it still does, you can make it chill out manually.

Until the i16 update, I would have mids crash if it tried to update its data. Is it crashing then?

Otherwise, dunno
