I use this with a couple of my characters. For instance, my main, Derek Icelord, uses this for his ENTER button to bring up his chat box.:

It's a bit annoying, but if you really liked this ability (like I do) it's worth it. Mind that you have to tap the Left Arrow for the cursor to show now, however.
Sadly, I don't think they'll ever give us back the ability to use these in binds again. At least not in the near future.
