One thing I find interesting about the ATI/Nvidia debate is that I've owned both and found Nvidia to be much better.... but only when I don't follow the thread in the tech forum and change the Catalyst and in-game settings. If I leave both at their defaults, then my play experience is not great
Like others would be, I'm eagerly awaiting i17 and what improvements it's going to bring to running the game on ATI.
Interestingly, though, upon installing Windows 7 on my PC I kept cursing when I was running Co* and couldn't alt-tab (I had to alt-ctr-del and then force the other window to focus). I changed to an Aero theme the other day and, amazingly, I can now alt-tab perfectly. I don't know the technical reason why it's playing nicely now, but I'm just happy it is
I noticed something that I've never noticed before at the NCsoft Co* store - Nvidia is gone and ATI is shown. It's probably been that way for a long time, but I've only just noticed it.
