cant log onto test server with windows 7

I play the live server with windows 7 with no problems, however i downloaded the test server and was able to login to the character selection screen but when i attempt to enter Paragon city, COH just locks up. This is the same for my wife who also has window 7 and plays the live server with no problems. I tried all combination with the compatibility settings with no luck. Is there an issue with windows 7 and the test server?

Are you trying to log on to copied characters, or characters created on test?

Some people were having the same issue in this thread. Avatea even ask for some information.

I've had no trouble logging into test while running windows 7.
I am running a 64bit version not sure if that makes a difference in any way but test is working perfectly on my end

Where are we going and Why am I in this Handbasket?

I've had similar lockup issues on live - but only if I had compatibility settings in use - if I unchecked run as administrator and unchecked run in compatibility mode it loaded okay. I'm not sure if that may be the same issue you're having on test - I know I tweaked some settings in compatibility while trying to install test client - still trying to get it installed.

I'm not a Win7 expert, this is just what I've noticed, as always YMMV, but thought you might find it helpful.
