Barracuda Strike Force
My stalker just dinged 45, so I can finally get into final SF's redside has to offer. I was planning to hit them up in the following order: Barracuda, Lady Grey, LRSF (probably going to wait til 50 for this one from what I've heard about the difficulty). This is of course going to be punctuated with some patron arcs and whatnot.

Unfortunately, my highest Villain is stuck at lvl 33, so I won't be able to join you. Good luck nonetheless: Protector Redside needs all the loooove it can get.

Anyone have any advice or things to be wary of when I run this? It will most likely be with a PUG team of whatever I can grab at the time, so I probably won't be able to be too picky about what people bring (I don't really like those kind of SF's where you have to have archetype X anyways).

The design of the final fight with Reichsman seems to indicate that the faster you kill him, the faster the ambush spawns come, thus overwhelming you. The last time I did this SF (a master run), we defeated each ambush as it came. Once the ambush was cleared, we focused on Reichsman again.
I would recommend the following ATs (example sets listed):
2 brutes (one to focus on keeping Reichsman's aggro [Stone?], the other for the ambush spawns [Invuln/WP?])
2 corruptors (a buffer[FF/Sonic/Kin] and a debuffer [Rad/Dark])
2 dominators
1 mastermind
1 stalker
When the ambush spawns "feel" overwhelming, a dominator should use his/hers "patron" power to hold the enemy, and then a corruptor should use his/hers to defeat them (an enemy held by the dominators power will be instantly defeated by the corruptors power). Alternatively, the stalker (you) should sneak into one of the back rooms and use the insta-kill glowie.
Keep an eye on the timer (use the info tab of the power) of the "patron" temp power, they have to be recharged when they expire.

Also... All ATs get special temp "patron" powers from the machine in the final room, most of the powers are auto, but there is a power for the dominators, masterminds and corruptors that must be put into the power tray as it is a click power.
Make sure that the players of those ATs are aware of them.
One more tidbit: The Stalker's power gives super-stealth... that is the only thing that lets you enter the "insta-kill" glowie room protected by the lasers. If the temp powers wears off while you're in that room, it will damage/kill you.

Remember the number three for the final mission.
Three Ambushes, three directions, three times. People tend to think that the ambushes are endless, they are not, there are just a lot of them. With patience, you can wipe them all out. If for some reason you happen to wipe, everyone should hosp and meet back at the door, the ambushes will go there.

"Silly villain, CoX is for Heroes!" -Saicho

Is this a one time only glowie? Will it kill everything that spawned? (If we spawned all 3 ambushes, could we kill them all with the glowie?)
If there is only one glowie, does that mean it's really only useful to have 1 stalker? (as far as the gadget part of the fight is concerned. I realize they are still useful for damage and whatnot)

If somebody you're arguing with goes off the deep end, don't follow.

Anyways... I'm letting some patrol xp build up, but in about 9 days, going to be running the Barracuda SF. For some basic research, I've read the wiki, but reading isn't exactly the same as doing.
