New Year
Have you listened to the podcast from HeroCon or looked at the videos taken by some of the attendees?
I think that may be some of the stuff you are looking for regarding Going Rogue.
Also, isn't the tentative release date set for second quarter 2010?
BTW, it was kinda hard to find your "suggestion" in that wall of text. Was there something besides a request to have more info about upcoming things for the game?
Also, it sounds like you are a bit burnt out - perhaps it's time for a break?

Thanks Ad Astra,
I have not listened to the podcast from HeroCon or looked at the videos taken by some of the attendees but will now. And you are right I may be a bit burnt out but I'm trying to find out if there is more long term plans that are being discussed to be excited about. I will look over your suggestion though. Sorry my suggestion was more of a request though and probably should be in a different area of the forum, it's has just become over time a bit hard to justify another year commitment but I hope the podcast will give me a reason to continue playing this great MMO. Thanks for your time responding

I Have now been a regular player since the launch of City of Heroes and I'm concerned what a long time player has to look foward to for the New Year. My concern is that after 6 years I'm not seeing any reasons(other then a discount which overall is not a factor) to buy a full years subscription again. I know it is not easy to predict when something is coming out on an exact date but you are asking people who have played this game for a long time to buy something ahead of time that may not have any changes for up to X amount of time. I honestly have gotten to a point where I have done all AT's and in game content and I would imagine so have most people who have a few years of play time like I have. The information put out on new content like Going Rogue are vague or if it's a new issue it gets very little information about it on the main page other then a few screen shots or a video, why should I keep paying instead of letting my acount go inactive and wait for Going Rogue to come out? I'm a business man and I just don't see how you are selling me this product other then offering a discount and hope I still like what may come out, it's like paying me for Comics or a game at my store for a year and I give you Spiderman 600 every month or here is another Pokemon Diamond and Pearl after a while the customer is going to quit because even if you discounted the Spiderman or game it's just not worth it. I really enjoy this game and talk about it to a lot of my comic customers. I'm asking that you sell the product better by giving out information more(even if it's a broad time like "This spring X Coming to CoX"), and the excuse that we may not hit a release date we published and people will be mad is a cop out, let people know that unexpected problems occurred vs just saying we will inform people when it's ready, which may have more long term players like my friends moving over to other MMO's. I understand this is probably just a long time player issue but it is important to bring up.
