Hi, I'm interested in hearing about people's experiences with Necro/Force Field specifically with Power Boost. I'm interested in reading about a variety of experiences. I'm especially interested in how durable the deadboys (girls?) are in a variety of situations, including 'normal' groups of opponents (lts and minions with some bosses), the RWZ, the ITF, against AVs, etc.
I've just started a Bots/FF, and even at only level 28, his mechas are already incredibly durable -- and that's before either of the +def or +resist pet uniques, and before Power Boost. I've already played Traps, Dark, and Storm twice each to around 39, Storm additional times to 32 and 26, Pain to 39, and Poison to levels 35 and 32, and BY FAR Force Field has provided the most survivability.
Necro/Force Field with Power Boost has some interesting features and synergies:
A ton of to-hit debuffing, to complement FF's defense. To-hit debuffing acts just like defense, but against only the opponents that were hit with the debuff, vs. defense which is against everything.
A self-heal.
Self healing pets.
Necro allows for both of the +def and +resist uniques to be slotted, resulting in +10% def and +20% resist.
Power Boost increases the single target shields from 18% to 30%.
It seems like all of this would result in extremely durable pets, starting in the mid 40s.
