Windows 7: settings not applying

Hiya,

The game runs but any options changed within the game aren't applied (graphics and sound).

I turned off UAC and rebooted my computer but still no luck.

It installed fine, I see the key in the registry but I'm not sure why new settings aren't taking affect.

Help is appreciated.

Got it. I guess I haven't changed settings in a long time. I always used to click apply then either close the window or click cancel. If I clicked cancel it was undoing what I applied. If I closed the window it wasn't saving the resoution setting.

So I just exited the game with the Options screen up.

Counter-intuitive for me but it's working now.
