Fire/SD - build critique

Build goals are double-stacked AD, 95% hit chance against +4 enemies, must have SS for concept, softcapped everything and keep all defense bonuses when exemplared to 32. I will have a seperate build for pre-level 32 play. Attack chain is Scorch > Incinerate > Scorch > Cremate; I don't want to take any of the sword attacks except for FSC.

I'm pretty happy with this, although I really wish I could scrounge together 4 slots from somewhere to properly slot the resists in Deflection and Tough. I'm missing out on about 20% SL resistance, and that makes me sad.

Thoughts?

It's a very great build, I don't see any improvements that I can make without having some negative effects to your restraints.

Thanks. That build is much better than mine (same defense, more recharge/regen, cheaper to boot), although it abandons the goal of getting 90% DefDebuff resistance which I'm not sure I want to do. Playing an SR has made me pampered

Unless you're sole purpose is to solo an Assault Rifle wielding or Radiation manipulating enemy you won't have to worry much about DDR.

I tried to not touch items that would take me too long to get (Purples sets, PvP IOs, etc.), but at the same time, get some good defense numbers and recharge bonuses with a slathering of recovery bonuses. I'm not too worried about exemplaring with all the defense bonuses and such, as when I do exemplar, I'll be running with a team anyway. I'm also not too worried about not slotting True Grit with heal enhancement, as if I start losing that much HP with soft capped defense, I'm in over my head anyway.

I would like some advice on a good attack chain for a build with balanced AoE and ST damage. I have not played Fiery Melee before (going to play with it on double XP weekend), so I really don't know how the attacks will work yet; I just chose the ones that looked good based on the numbers and rctivation times/recharge times. I'll only be using them on an occasional boss or for quick cleanup anyway, so I mostly choose hard hitting ones.

Anyway, more advice or critiques would be nice.
