Odd problem I'm having with a few of my characters since i16 came out.

A couple of my characters have had power and/or costume colors change on me.

No, this is NOT the issue we all sometimes have with SG colors popping up on a new costume till you reset the colors. A the color changes have been totally different from my SG or VG colors.

The main two examples are my Earth troller having a couple of her power colors change, and twice also, and just today I notived my Spines/Dark Scrapper's costume went from midnight blue to jet black.

Odd...


Anybody else having this problem?

Both Dark Armor and Earth control had their power customization options changed in the last patch, so perhaps some of your options got reset.
Can't check to confirm as I was waiting for the Dark Armor changes and didn't have any characters adjusted before the patch.

Patch Notes:

  • Dark Armor now has a "No Fade or Pulse" theme, which will allow players customizable FX without the dark light pulses of various powers or transparency in Cloak of Darkness
  • The brown 'tints' in customized Earth Control should now be gone.
  • The second Lava theme in the tailor's dropdown menu should now be gone.

Ahhhh, well the changes in color options could definitely explain the changes in the Earth Troller's powers.

Not sure how the tweaks in dark armor would change my Spines Scrapper's costume main color from midnight blue to black though, lol. Since it actually looks good, I'm not really worried about it beyond the small possibility of it happening again.

Maybe it was just a one time brainfart by the game partially connected to the change in power options. *shrug*

Well, this has been happening to me for a while now, even before i16 came out. Somehow my brain has adjusted to ignore it, but when I saw your post I realized that this is probably the same thing I've been going through. It's particularly noticeable at the Steel Canyon WW (mind you I'm there so bloody often it's no wonder that's where I noticed it). This is on Freedom and Virtue.

Here's the scenario. I log in, click on a WW rep to check my sale status and everyone has an indigo-ish tint to them for a bit. I super jump it over to the University to craft and when I return the indigo is gone and now there is a light blue tint on everyone. One jump to my sg base and return to see red on all npc's and pc's.

I don't know what caused it and did find it mildly annoying for a short time, however it isn't 'bugging' me anymore so put it outta my mind.
