Crafting and storage
I'm fully in support of *anything* that makes moving crafted enhancements around easier. I tend to do the same thing myself (try to keep bins stocked for lower level characters - granted those characters belong either to my sister or to me, but still they are lowbies in search of IOs).
The idea of "going until you can't go any more" sounds intriguing as well for the same reason.

One of the things I do in some of my SGs is craft common IOs, especially for lowbies. ("At 12? Don't blow your INF on DOs, just snag the 15s in the bins" basically.) I don't do it for the badges - well, other than to get them memorized to make the crafting cheaper. It's just helpful.
The one thing that's a pain about it, though... is the 10 enhancement limit. Make 10, come to a screeching halt, go to bin, dump them in one at a time, go back. There's GOT to be a way to streamline this.
A few possibilities:
1. A "Dump all enhancements into bin" button.
This is just on your enhancement (or possibly bin) screen. Move all ten enhancements from your enhancement inventory to the bin. Speeds things up a little, though it can make storage a mess if you've got a mix of them.
Pros: Fast dumping of enhancements.
Cons: Still limited to 10.
2. An "Invention Center" upgrade
This can be made - where else - at the invention table. (Alternately at the workshop tables.) This is an Invention table with storage. (Or even with multiple tiers of storage.) Having storage, of course, means it'd add to rent most likely, and be subject to the 18 storage item limit. So, let's get a few possibilities:
- Adds storage to the table. Usable in 20, 50, and 100 item varieties. (Three tiers.) Or
- Links to an existing enhancement bin. This has the pro of not eating up *another* storage slot by adding it - it uses the existing storage. I don't know if the ability to do so is there, though.
Pros:
Items you craft go immediately in the bin, so you can just keep going.
Cons:
With some, the storage addition takes a storage slot from the 18 in each base.
Not sure if "linking" would work.
Unsure:
Upgrading to another tier may mean having to empty out the storage. It'd be nice if you didn't have to, though.
3. Automation!
No, you still need a player there. But if you have the recipes (or they're memorized,) with the storage mentioned above, you can pick the recipe, pick the level (if multiples are available that share ingredients) and just tell it to "go 'til you can't any more" (or until X are made.) Links to your personal salvage inventory (if you let it.)
This isn't *as* big a deal - heck, we don't have that much storage space - but it may speed up the process. Alternately, allow you to just *make* up to ten at a time (with a slider just like in the auction house) as long as you have the money and materials, with one click.
And, while not related to the process itself -
Let us have more "stuff" to craft. IOs are nice and all, but let us craft temp powers *and store them* (within limits.) Why CAN'T I make revolvers for the supergroup and put them in a case, or broadswords or whatnot? The temp powers themselves aren't overpowering. And yeah, we need more temp power recipes, too.
