shoulder cat demands a more comfortable position to ride in, and to be taken to the fish market!

love it.

(inside joke) frost should take heed and know that his new kitteh overlords will only be pleased with fish and kitty artz.

Hey! No Hogging all the arts for the kittenhs! Alpha would not look right with kitty ears and a tail... Fenian maybe... Caemgen? I half suspect he's part lion and would eat up the kittehs if they tried to steal his arts...

What are you talking about?

I've no idea about the shoulder cat thing... For my part, I'm just going with it and being silly.

Wish I could post most of my works up like this. Too bad for the 2 link rule. >.<;
Still, color me jealous puddy tat.

Nebaroth has great command of bodily curves, but what really makes me love him (platonically) is his expressions. They're just so damn fun.

I can only wonder if and when the Kat art train will stop, not that I'm hoping it will, at any rate...

I agree completely about Nebaroth. He does some fantastic facial expressions...actually everything about his stuff is just very expressive.

Glad you are enjoying. This art train has been going for a looong time. Sometimes it has slowed down, but it has never stopped.

Here it is! Allyriah and Feral Kat!

Lines by http://rhardo.deviantart.com/

Colors by http://spidey0318.deviantart.com/

This is not the full sized image, should have that uploaded later. I hope Ally likes this! I know, I know, it looks a little like they are dancing, but trust me, they are ready to fight a bunch of badguys!

Link now connects to a updated version with corrected costume and hair coloring for Ally's character.

The art is indeed great...

Though I do have to wonder if Rhardo got confused as to what the pose was supposed to be.. They actually look to me like they are fashion models doing poses on a runway or for an photoshoot rather than dancing, but I can't quite see them about to beat up baddies...

Of course, maybe the bad guys tried to lure the two of them into a trap by saying they were doing a "Fashion of the Heroes" photoshoot on a rooftop - Unfortunately for the dastardly villians, they're trap was a bit obvious and you and Ally are just having some fun playing along until you kick their aaaaaaaa..... butts?

lol

Actually, the request for the piece was from Ally, the idea for the piece was basically...the two of us standing our ground against unknown pursuit...

So, yeah, I suppose in some ways it didn't turn out like that. On the other hand, I have never been all that specific with artists, and I often ask them to use their judgment or go with what they are feeling or what they like. I try to commission artists who's style I like in some way, and then I want them to work on something that they are interested in creating. Sometimes it comes out like what I was thinking of, often it doesn't. However, I would rather have a piece that they put a bit more into because they were going where they wanted and were interested in what they were doing than a piece that was directed by me but they were bored with. I have had stuff done by rhardo before, and he knew some of what I liked about his work was his fluid poses. There are other artists who can be very technically correct with there anatomy and yet their characters still look doll-like and stiff. Ultimately, it isn't exactly what I was expecting, but I am very happy with this piece.

I totally agree. I usually try to give the artists as little direction as possible - I figure they're the one with talent and skill, let them use them, and their imaginations, to express how they see the character. Not every piece is exactly what I was hoping for but on the other hand many are much more than I would have imagined myself.

New art from Happy Dan posted!

New gift art from CoX's very own Bindweed! You can see more of his wonderful art at http://happy-dan.deviantart.com/

There was some suggestion at first that this piece might be a little NSFW, but I am not really sure what the fuss is about. I don't think there is anything all that naughty about it, except maybe in the mind of the viewer. It is just an amazing piece of line art. And it is going to be colored!

The only way I can see someone even possibly thinking it's too suggestive would be if they didn't realize Kat actually had clothes on... I suppose if they really didn't know the character and their outfit...?? *shrug*

Anyway, it's great art and I cannot wait to see the colorized version

I think it's the implied tribadism, which in the urban dictionary introduced me to the hilarious phrase "clamjousting" LOL.
