Ghost box around cursor

Not sure if this is helpful or not, but I get the same behavior whenever I run CoX after I've run Photoshop. Haven't investigated WHY, exactly, since for me a reboot fixes it. Does this happen consistently for you every time you boot your comp? Do you have any background applets running?
Photoshop! Damn it, I was looking for a solution to this same problem, and that's probably the cause for me.

I'm running xp, not vista, but I am getting the ghost box around my cursor and it keeps flashing in and out. I left the game for a year and just came back. I know there is a quick fix for this, but I can't remember what it is. Please help. Thank you!
