Extremely slow patching speeds

I'm getting somewhere between 12k-15k download speeds for updates. I'm reinstalling the CoH client and at this rate it will take all night just to go from the Architect Edition version to current live version. What's up?

I've checked permissions on the program and given it access. I've tested other sites and games (including Champions Online)...nothing else is having speed issues. Anyone else having problems?
