How do I copy characters to Test?

Here's a question: How do I copy my characters from Live to the Test server? There used to be a sticky explaining this, but it seems to have been sat on and killed. I used to have a link to it bookmarked, but I don't have access to my bookmarks at the moment. I found a page off google, but I'd rather not enter my user name and password in the first thing that a google search returns.
So, any ideas?
