Samuraiko's videos show what is best about this game. They make my heart swell with emotion just watching them, and I get all sniffy and nostalgic for the last five years I have spent in Paragon City.
Seriously, nothing Cryptic, NC Soft, or Paragon Studios has done has even come close. Those Captain Amazing videos were painful to watch they were so bad... they showed nothing at all about what is good about this game.

I've been a fan of D_R's vids for a long time now and while it would be nice to see her efforts rewarded with gainful employ, I'd be concerned her freedom to make them the way she wants and likes could be restricted to making them fit some marketer's script. Which may be why the ones made by the official folks tend toward the less than stellar variety.

Frankly, I like the cutscenes. They add an element of storyline to the adventure we would otherwise have missed.
Just because they interfere with grinding out a Task Force or a mission doesn't mean they should be removed.

First of all i totally agree with ya Athyna and it's good to see ya on the boards again! Dark Respite should totally be hired on by Paragon Studios for her video's.
Secondly i am totally bummed that i couldn't get together with Dark Respite all that time ago to make the TA video! I remember when she first showed us as a community her videos and i was blown away! As i continue to be.
