Dual Blades/Willpower Build Advice

Hi All,

[Flattery] I have been looking forward to being able to post on here for quite some time because you seem to give just about the best advice on any section of the forums.[/Flattery]

Anyway my current main scrapper is a Dual Blades/Willpower and I am trying to get the best build possible. Initially I went for an attack chain of Blinding Feint > Attack Vitals Combo > repeat and dropped the other attacks, and that did let me get some good defence, but in the last few days I decided that I can't get my head around life without the Sweep combo, so thought I would come here for advice.

The new plan is:

Ideally I want the build to be able to keep the BF>AV attack chain for single targets (I want to be able to take out AV's, though I know it will be slow with lethal damage, so took conserve power to allow me to keep that up, but have never actually needed it yet so am considering swapping it for SoW) as well as having the Sweep combination for Task Forces etc.

Is there anything any of you can see to improve this? Either on the DPS or survivability side.

Thanks in advance

Edit: Completely a PvE only build
Edit 2: This is a pretty much no budget build but the crazy stuff like the PvP +3 Def is out of the question, I am just too tight to fork out 500mil+ on one IO

Using the BF > AV attack chain, you're using 21.5 endurance every 6.732 seconds which calculates to 3.19 end/per second. So you can run this chain for 745 seconds until your end reaches 0. Conserve Power only has a 243.5 second downtime, so there's clearly no endurance problems.

Your DPS is at 146. I calculated it with Ablating Strike and Vengeful Slice being double stacked by BF's damage buff while Blinding Feint and Sweeping Strike only having the one 37.5% damage buff.

I kinda rushed the DPS calculation... so a confirmation would be nice!

EDIT: I didn't take the PI: Chance for +endurance into account when calculating your recovery.

I did a quick DPS calculation just like you Double stacked BF on AS and VS and only once on BF and SS. I got a DPS of 176.5.

Well, this is the build that I was planning on for my DB/WP scrapper.

Similar to yours but with all Defensive categories at 39% or higher.

I didn't want to have a hole in my defenses that I would be concerned with and this way the character is protected fairly equally from all types of incoming damage (except Psi).

I figure between his defenses, the -ToHit Debuff from RttC and the Weaken combo (if needed) the character should be able to be essentially at the softcap to anything thrown at him.

My build also has a little more recharge than yours but loses a bit of accuracy.

At this level it really just comes down to trade-offs.

Sorry, forgot the 10% crit chance (stupid Jeff!!! ).

The actual DPS is 161, but that's not taking into account the DoT at the end of the AV combo.

To add to the confusion, I calculated 160 including the DoT assuming a 95% chance to hit.

I did it again and got 168DPS(I always like to be high) so I think I would just go with the lowers one and it should be around 161ish DPS.
