Man, TA, you're really getting shameless! First the August FArt Battle theme was a thinly-veiled attempt to get mega-fan TA pics, and now you're coming straight out and telling me to do up some TA artwork! I might have to take out the whip and put you back in your place. Or send a whip to Sassy, whichever works best >=D

Hehe, wasn't the June art battle "Draw a Screenshot Forumite in a homage to a famous art?" He got some art of his character there too. Shame shame shame, TA.

I'm a long time lurker of this board (was always my fave CoH forum section). I came out of hiding once I had something to show off (errr, i mean "share" . . . see my sig).

Now I prowl for free arts to fill up my DeviantArt page.

Well i would never deny being shameless for teh artz! I am a total Ho for artz, you know this

Though i swear none of the fanart battles were attempts at getting free mega TA artz! I was merely posting up themes, honestly. I did think it funny that people drew TA thinking it would get them voted into the next month though. Muah ahahahahah

Also careful with the whip jokes when it comes to Sassy and I, that may turn against you if you were to come over here with it

Hi, I'm Giant Mosquito and I am mostly a lurker.

I'm also a CoH addict and graphic designer who is trying to work on his figure drawing and digital painting skills, and occasionally those three things converge into something that's worth showing off on this board.

AHA! Found the buried intro thread.

Sup everyone I'm ChristopherRobin aka C.Rob, CR, or BigPoppaPump globally in-game.

I'm mostly call Liberty home but I have a presence on Triumph and Victory as well, plus a few heroes scattered across Virtue & Justice.
Most well known, on Liberty, for the infamous Chloe Macomber, and also Xllusya, Strahd, Simon Tam and Shieldara.
Brahn Fuhrnos on Triumph and either Perpetual Fist or Spinal Red on Victory.

I'm a self-taught traditional artist (drawing, color pencils, ink, some painting, silverpoint and photography) but I would like to learn
more about digital art (apparently there's this program called photoshop but pssst... it's not just for photo's... you can totally draw
stuff with it... I know I was shocked too ). I used to draw all the time but stopped like 7 years ago and so am really out of practice.
I just got inspired to "pick up the pen" again recently after stumbling across this section of the forums (been around CoH since Issue2
but never knew there was an art forum ) and seeing some of what other people on here were doing.

I build custom computers for a living which tends to get in the way of my CoH time (it's probably all a Nemesis plot though ).
When I'm not gaming or ordering parts online I lift weights, play drums and occasionally draw stuffz.

I'm Dutch.
There, I said it.
I used to lurk around the RP and Art forum on the EU side, now I'm mostly just over here in this art section.

I play on Union where I sometimes Roleplay when the mood strikes me.


On these boards I like to observe and admire art and give constructive comments when I feel they are appropriate. I've been accused of having a good eye, so I try to use it to help people while keeping it in it's socket.

I'm also a newbie collector, well, one could say I've been at it for a while but I've only recently started to do it the American commission way.

I sometimes do a bit or re-colouring, mostly skin tone to make a photo look more like one of my green skinned alts. Maybe one day I'll work up the courage to do some colouring for real.

Didn't notice this thread before, so I hope nobody minds if I toss my intro here.

I am Cal, a RP addicted writer who has stumbled upon the addiction for artwork. Usually spend most of my time spreading the good word of Pie to the general forum, helping out on the tanker forum, or just hanging out in Victory forum.

Outside of the game I run my own website (several actually, but 1 is 100% mine), fix computers, and try to satisfy the creative writing bug that rears it's head now and then.

Most of my characters have fairly large back stories that tie into various RP arcs or other stories I have written over during my time in CoH. I keep somewhat scattered reference sheets on all of them, and in game each one gets played with a different personality depending on their role.

I have requested my first commission and am very excited to see the results of somebody else looking at my home grown characters and seeing their perception. I expect it will not be the first one ether

On a side note, and the last time I will post about it as I do not want to Spam, if anybody is looking for pic hosting I am offering up space on my site. See the following thread for the details.
