Updater Problems! :(

I crashed last night a few times, ever since then CoH updater will not work! it just verifys the image then once thats done an error window comes up saying "CoH.Updater.eu.exe has stopped working" no info on wot caused the problem ive also tried deletin checksum file incase that helps but nope still the same

anyone know how to fix this?

Check the timestamp on your CoH folder. I've seen cases where a crash somehow manages to corrupt this, and CoH doesn't seem to like being in a folder with a corrupt timestamp.

If it's not something sensible, make a new folder and copy everything in your CoH one over; then delete the old folder and remake it and copy everything back.

Nah. Next, try deleting the updater and redownloading it. There's a sticky thread at the top of this section with a link to it.

this is really starting to annoy me! i did wot u said but the link wouldnt work so i was forced to reinstall and its still doing it! not once in the 3years ive been playing has this happened! grrr

At this point, it's probably a good idea to raise a support ticket on the PlayNC website and ask them for help. They'll be able to guide you through some diagnostics that will hopefully resolve the problem.
