The bad news is that there is liittle to none, sorry. The good news is, there are plenty on the Union server. Somebody should have told you that Union is the unofficial roleplaying server man. Come join us, we'll welcome you to our action-packed drama-rich Union Universe! 
Ah! Darn it! Thank god I'm only level 8 ish so I think I'll re-create my character on the Union server. Thanks!
Oh, and is there a reason why I can't get passed the tutorial into Galaxy city? It won't load and it says there's a mapserver problem... I have a trial account if that helps?
That's rather peculiar, and shouldn't be happening. I'd suggest making a post in the Tech Issues/Bugs forum.
Just to clarify, though - you've created the character, run through the tutorial and are trying to access via Galaxy City?
What is the error message you are actually getting (and which one - is it a pop-up dialogue box or does it dump you back to the login screen?), and at what stage of the zone load does it occur(CoH Splash-screen or the Galaxy City loading screen)?

I get sent back to the log in screen with a pop up saying something along 'mapserver connection problem' and it happens during the splash screen when I go back to coyote to go to Galaxy City.
I also can't just select to skip the tutorial. It'll go to mainscreen again saying the same thing. Only happens on Union and not Defiant.

I've recently started playing CoH and I'm instantly hooked. I'm looking for a RP supergroup that is active and one that also suits my characters personality. Because of this I've added a little short snippet of information below. FYI - I am a mutation scrapper Katana (Primary) and Regeneration (Secondary)
Alcides is not afraid of using unorthodox and potentially lethal methods in order to achieve his goals, due to this; I would class him as an anti-hero. His personally is his main weakness; prone to judging and insulting people upon meeting them, he makes more enemies than friends. He is fiercely loyal to his associates and is known for being stubborn and for having problems with authority.
Despite his social weaknesses with other heroes, he spends most of his time with a cigarette in his mouth (his regeneration mutation destroys all harmful effects), drinking his favourite brand of beer or womanizing.He hides a dark secret that only those closest to him know but those closest to him have the tendency to die soon after they are told.
