My Return

Hi people,

I returning to the game after a break from it for around 4 - 5 months. I left the game just before i13 was released, I use to love pvp but hear alot of bad things about it now. But I have told myself i'm going to give it a try, and go into it with a open mind.

The reason i'm posting is that i've been away and due to 2 issues being released into the game I have no idea what works. I will be starting a new account for the game and wish to build a stalker and a corupter, could you let me know what combos work well?

Plus I never got to use a fort before I left but love the look of them, do these still work well in pvp?

Thanks for any advice you can give.

Unless it's a debuffing thermal I wouldn't bother with a corruptor. and I'm pretty sure stalkers suck too now.

So a sonic/Rad or Thermal for a corr then?

Heat exhaustion is an excellent -recovery debuff which will make life difficult for many characters. However, you'll have to watch out for people with Geas as that trumps Heat Exhaustion. There is a PbAOE recovery debuff in one of the Dominator psi sets that, as I recall, does not have that problem. Unfortunately I forget the name though.
Nonetheless, a Thermal corruptor should be a good choice under the current rules.

Keep in mind that they are still tweaking set performance in PvP however, so if you suspect you'll stick with the character long-term current performance is not as important a yardstick it would otherwise be.

I believe most VEATs got a damage decrease in PvP upon I14 release. I have not fought one since release, however, so I am uncertain about their current performance.

Heat Exhaustion can be made perma with fairly little difficulty. I'd be impressed if someone could get perma geas
